I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 and worked for the NHS for 18 years in and around London. I initially specialised in musculoskeletal conditions and later developed a special interest in women’s and men’s health conditions. I have worked solely in this field since 2008. I set up and ran the Women’s and Men’s Health service with Central London Community Healthcare in Barnet in 2007; managing a team of physiotherapists, taking part in regular training and mentoring of staff. I completed my postgraduate training in Pelvic Health in 2008 allowing me full membership into my association. I moved to Bedfordshire in 2017 and now work in private practice. I am very passionate about pelvic health problems and continue to learn and develop a deeper understanding of these debilitating conditions. In my time outside of work I am a mother to two beautiful girls. I also enjoy hill walking, travelling (especially now that we have recently purchased a VW camper van) and “Kathak” a form of classical Indian dance, a hobby and passion I share with my girls.
