I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1996 from the University of Salford and now have over 20 years of experience in treating clients with musculoskeletal conditions in NHS, private healthcare and corporate settings. Becoming a parent was a turning point for me and created a huge shift in my focus professionally and personally. Over the last 5 years I have undertaken specialist training related to Women’s & Men’s Health and have been lucky enough to work and train with fantastically experienced colleagues at Harborne Physiotherapy and Warwick Hospital.

I like to look at each client in a holistic way and am ‘hands on’ in the way I assess and treat. This could include looking at posture, movement and breathing patterns in addition to checking individual joints and muscles. My ultimate goal is to put you back in control of your health with the right treatment, advice and exercise.

When I’m not in clinic helping clients, I spend some time each week teaching physiotherapy undergraduates at the University of Leicester and Coventry University. I have also assisted in teaching post-graduate pelvic health courses for physiotherapists starting out in pelvic health.

I can help with issues related to Pregnancy, Post-natal and Women’s Health such as:

Continence
Pelvic pain
Vaginal prolapse
Pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain
Diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation)
Postnatal assessment & rehabilitation – The Mummy MOT
Pre and Post Gynaecological surgery
If you are unsure if physiotherapy could help, then please do get in touch with me to discuss.
