Farhana is a specialist women’s health and musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Cape Town and started her career in the South African equivalent of the NHS, before relocating to London in 2008. She has worked in various NHS and private clinics in London including The Princess Grace Hospital, Little Venice Pilates and Physiotherapy, and 108 Medical Chambers.
She has additional qualifications in women’s health, pre and postnatal care, breast cancer care, acupuncture, pilates and hydrotherapy.
Farhana is passionate about restoring pain-free movement and function in patients. She tackles problems using bespoke rehabilitation programs, joint and soft tissue mobilisation, acupuncture, postural correction and correction of movement dysfunctions. She assesses patients in a holistic way to find the root of the problem and aims to restore function as well as reduce the risk of the injury recurring.
In her spare time, she tries to balance her love of food with regular exercise and is a keen traveller.
