I am a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience evaluating and treating women with pelvic health conditions.
I qualified as a Physiotherapist from King’s College London, University of London in 2004. Since then I have worked at three of London’s teaching Hospitals: the Royal London Hospital, St. George’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital where I am team leader of the women’s health team. I have undertaken extensive training in the women’s health field over the last 10 years. I have presented at national and international conferences and written book chapters on the pelvic floor.
Many women restrict their physical activity because they experience bladder leakage or heaviness and dragging in the vagina during certain activities such as walking, running, lifting or jumping. These symptoms can affect quality of life and wellbeing. I have a specialist interest in optimising pelvic health in women to help them get back to exercise/sport to lead the active lifestyle they want to, to keep healthy and happy over a lifetime.
Whether you are eighteen, pregnant, postnatal, coming up to menopause or beyond. I treat all pelvic health conditions. I am passionate about working with women to achieve their personal goals.
I am a mum of two who has a passion for health and fitness. I enjoy lake swimming and trail running.
I am a friendly and caring women’s health expert who takes a holistic approach to treatment. I also work in collaboration with other women’s health professionals to ensure optimal results for my clients for both their physical and mental wellbeing.
I offer a home visit service in SE London and Kent or work from either Beckenham therapy rooms or Karma studios in West Wickham.
