After graduating with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008, I worked for NHS Highland for 5 years before moving to Nuffield Health in 2013. I have extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal problems. I have experience in pre and post-surgical assessment and care which has led to my current role as the Recovery Plus lead physiotherapist for Glasgow.
My particular area of clinical interest lies in treating pelvic floor muscle dysfunction including symptoms of vaginal prolapse, bladder and bowel weakness. I also specialise in treating pregnancy related back/pelvic pain. I’m fully trained to deliver acupuncture and Pilates and can use this alongside any of my treatments. I am passionate about making a difference to people’s lives by restoring their pelvic health and helping them return to a full, active lifestyle. Sessions are provided in a comfortable, relaxed environment, and with a reassuring, honest and open approach to your physiotherapy treatment and care. I am a trained Mummy MOT practitioner.
Outside of work I am an outdoor sports enthusiast and enjoy trail running, mountain biking, skiing, sailing and hill walking and previously competed across the UK in Athletics (pole vault).
My Qualifications: • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy • Member of the CSP • Member of the HCPC • Member of the AACP • Diploma Orthopaedic Medicine (SOMM) • APPI Level 3 Pilates Instructor • Mummy MOT practitioner
